Over the course of her career, Rachel has worked across various systems, including supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, working within medical settings, child and family welfare, and the school system. Her approach is grounded in a strengths-based perspective, emphasizing the vital role of mental health in daily life. Rachel employs a client-centered, trauma-informed approach, drawing from a wide range of therapeutic modalities. These include attachment-based therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindful self-compassion, grief counseling, and solution-focused therapy. She tailors her methods to meet the unique needs of each individual.

While Rachel works with clients ranging from ages 4 to 78, she specializes in supporting people of color, particularly in relation to the immigrant experience and life transitions. Cultural competency and a deep understanding of intergenerational trauma are central to her therapeutic approach.
