How have you been feeling lately? You may be used to holding everything together on your own. You may be used to carrying a lot on the inside, pushing through the stress, managing expectations, and showing up for others even when you’re feeling overwhelmed. At times, it can feel exhausting to hold everything together without a space to slow down and be supported. You don’t have to navigate that alone.

I’m a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) providing counselling to individuals and youth seeking a space where they can feel heard, respected, and understood. I have experience supporting clients navigating trauma, intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. I am particularly committed to supporting Black and racialized women and youth, recognizing how systemic barriers, culture, and lived experiences shape mental health and access to care.

In my practice, I consistently strive to create an environment where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. My practice is grounded in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approaches. This means I prioritize emotional safety, choice, collaboration, and empowerment, while acknowledging the broader systems that impact well-being. I draw from evidence-informed approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT-informed skills, and strength-based practices, and tailor each session to your pace and needs.

In our work together, we can create space to process your experiences, build coping strategies, and strengthen your sense of self in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. You deserve support that honours both your story and your resilience. If you’re considering counselling, we can begin with a conversation to see what feels right for you.

Sometimes life changes us so quietly that one day we look around and realize we do not quite feel like ourselves anymore. My goal in therapy is to help you come back to yourself in a way that feels genuine, grounding, and sustainable. I create a warm and culturally aware space where you can show up fully as yourself your experiences, your background, your faith, your struggles, and all the parts of you that may feel unseen or unheard elsewhere. I know how heavy it can feel to carry expectations, navigate change, pour into everyone else, and still try to hold yourself together at the same time.

Whether you are feeling anxious, emotionally drained, stuck between different versions of yourself, or simply needing a space to breathe and process, therapy with me is about slowing down, feeling supported, and finding your way back to who you are. Together, we will work toward creating healthier boundaries, more balance, deeper self-understanding, and a life that feels more aligned with the person you want to be.

You do not have to have everything figured out before reaching out. I am here to walk alongside you through it.”
